We want you to look this good.

From serious speeches to serious fun, here are a few snapshots from recent events we’ve managed.

WBLS Circle of Sisters 2010

Jacob Javits Center, New York City October 30& 31, 2010
40,000+ attendees
Circle of Sisters 2010 was a record breaking event. We had more attendees than ever before and had well over 200 businesses involved on all levels – from vending to major sponsorship. This year our theme was Renew, Restore and Rebuild. We had panel discussion on the State of Black America, Careers and a Brand New You, The Power to Prosper and The Doctors Health Panel. Some of our guests included Mayor Corey Booker, Omarosa, Montel Williams, Wes Moore and Susan Taylor.

With COS over Halloween weekend, we expanded our Kid’s Pavilion this year to 2 stages with a variety of activities that included a costume contest. This year we started a Circle of Sisters book club chat with Terry McMillan and other guest authors. Activities were scheduled at all of our specialty pavilions all day on both Saturday and Sunday.

Our Cooking Pavilion was once again busy with guest chefs Jeff Henderson and Sunny Anderson among others.
Fantasia was our Saturday night concert headliner in addition to Eric Benet, Tank and Donell Jones. Sunday was a music filled day beginning with our Worship Service with Bishop Hezekiah Walker and his Love Fellowship Tabernacle and the Gospel Explosion hosted by Steve Harvey with special performances by Tye Tribbett, Detrick Haddon and Vashaan Mitchell.
